This design was born from the reality that beagles bred for laboratory testing are not given names — they are given numbers. Tattooed. Tracked. Treated as inventory rather than individuals.

Ridglan Farms in Wisconsin sold over 6,800 dogs into research pipelines between 2022 and 2025. Marshall BioResources in New York is believed to house more than 20,000 beagles right now. In Australia, an estimated 7,200 dogs pass through research facilities every single year — and most Australians have no idea, because the system is not required to tell them.

These three beagles have had enough.
